Case Packer Manual Handing:- A thing of the past.

Smurfit Kappa Machine Systems, the UK’s leading case packer manufacturer, has installed at a leading FMCG manufacturer a high speed, fully automated packing system designed with a NO manual handling requirement. Packaging is processed directly from the pallet, the machine automatically decants the wraparound blanks and packs the customers cartons at world class OEE. Additionally the automated size change facility gives repeatable high speed product changes that ensures the first product off the line is saleable product every time.

The rationalisation program, and a new design of the SRP (Shelf Ready Packaging) gave a fresh appearance and heightened shelf presence. By providing a breadth of vision over a complete project from packaging materials to palletisation, Smurfit Kappa Machine Systems helped the manufacturer in their packaging reduction project succeed beyond expectations.
